Plate Compactors

If you are looking to compact ground before laying road surfaces, pathways, paving, driveways or drainage a plate compactor will make the job a lot faster and easier. Whether it’s for a small job or a large commercial job, plate compactors will ensure the ground is compacted and ensuring your job is much more durable and less likely to shift or crack.

A plate compactor uses a high frequency vibrating heavy steal plate that is mounted to the bottom of a machine. That plate removes air and makes a solid mass of the material you are using or the ground you want compacted. Smaller hand driven plates will move themselves as you direct and guide it to where you need it to go but there are bigger more powerful tools for the job.
